Make A Wish

Hello!  Well, as you already know, Kimm has given us this lovely sketch to work with this week ... and oh how much fun I had with this!  ;)  It's also my turn to do a little tutorial, and this is my very FIRST tutorial ever in blogland ... lol .. so please bear with me.  hehe!

Here's my card, and what I'll be trying to show is how to do a circle punch frame around your image.

So here's some supplies you will need, as you can see, it doesn't require much:
- paper
- Martha Stewart border punch or any border punch you'd prefer to use
- scissors

Start by punching out a long border.  I used a 8.5x11" paper, but I would recommend a 12x12.  After punching the border, trim it about an inch from the bottom of the border so it will look like this:

Cut straight lines right up to the bottom of the border at each interval (for this one, I cut at the end of each flower design)

I then folded each section and layered it like shown:

I placed glue dots on every other section.  You most certainly can place glue dots on every section if that's what you'd prefer.  :)

Then I start at a place on the image that I know will be covered by some type of embellishment ... just incase the ends don't meet properly ... lol!

Keep going around and you'll find that the border will circle right around the image very easily.

And voila you're done!  Now for me, I ran out of border (of course it had to happen to me!  lol!).  So what I did was made a little more border and just added to it.    And that's it!  Easy peasy!!!

Hope that was okay!  And if there is something that I didn't explain too clearly, please don't hesitate to ask me ... I'd be more than happy to help!  :)

Thank you so much for visiting us here at the Beary Scrap blog!  And don't forget to come back to see the rest of my fabulous fellow DT's creations!  ;)
