Wrapping up Nature with the Beary Scrap

It's the last day of the month, which also means it's the final day for our nature theme at the Beary Scrap. We hope you have had fun and been inspired.

I have a simple card to share with you today, but sometimes those can be the most striking. I used papers from Echo Park's For the Record and the Be Mine collection. So many of the Echo Park papers work well together from one collection to another. My stamp (from Tim Holtz) is embossed using Stampendous Detail Embossing Powder in black. I used some Distress Ink in Peeled Paint to tie all of my papers together. I really use my Distress Inks all of the time - for so many techniques.

We will have a new challenge up tomorrow, and hope that you will come play along. For those that entered the Nature challenge - good luck!

Gini, this is gorgeous! I love the simplicity and that bird stamp is brilliant! Honestly, I passed on the EP "Be Mine" line, but you have made me do a double-take. That black paper is fantastic with the greens. Yowza!

Cheers,
Susan
