Birthday Card with Summer Days

Hello everyone! Brenda here for the second week of our sketch challenge, this week with the added challenge of using seam binding.

I absolutely love this sketch, and while I think it works beautifully for a layout, I also love how well it works on a card. I needed to make a birthday card for a close friend and lucky me, my Echo Park Summer Days showed up this week!

I used the Summer Days 6x6 pad which surely makes card-making a breeze. I wanted to make something simple and straightforward as the intended recipient is a clean and simple kind of gal. With Echo Park's coordinating chipboard pieces, the card was completed in under 30 minutes! I say there's no need to buy store cards when Echo Park combined with a great sketch makes it so easy to make your own! I also used some of the beautiful seam binding newly available in the Beary Scrap store!

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you all do with this sketch challenge! Enter in your layout, card, or altered project for a chance to win a $20 voucher to the Beary Scrap store!
