Happy Tuesday Friends! Thanks for joining me today. It's Kimm here sharing my contribution with a Beary Sweet Challenge inspirational piece for you. I hope you have been enjoying all of the beautiful little pieces of {he}art the ladies have been sharing with you. Susan's flowers are BEAUTIFUL! I hope you keep with us this week. There is much more to come.
So, what do May Flowers bring? BZZZZ! That's right, pesky bees. Can you tell I'm not a fan of bees? Let me rephrase that... I despise bugs! If it has more than four legs, chances are it's going to get squashed! Even so, bees are what makes our flowers bloom and our gardens grow. Our world could not sustain without bees. As long as they keep away from me, it's all good here. I love what they do for our planet.
My card today was inspired by this adorable Magnolia Honey Bee Tilda Stamp. When I decided to use this stamp, the first line of paper that jumped out at me is the new Queen Bee Collection by Pink Paislee. Oh, I love the colors and the prints. It was hard to decide which papers to use.
I used a few of our new Beary Sweet Floral rose flowers in white and inked them up with some color box fluid chalks. Our new floral line is in test production at this time and will be available as soon as we work out all of the bugs (no pun intended *wink*). I love using white flowers because you can easily create the color you need for your project. I had a few little flowers in my stash that I used to fill in the gaps a bit. Then I tucked in a few leaf sprays to fill it out. Lastly, I applied a bit of Stardust Stickles Glitter Glue for some sparkle.
Recipe:
- Paper: Pink Paislee Queen Bee Collection, Bazzill Cardstock, Neenah 110lb Cover Weight Cardstock
- Medium: Magnolia Stamp, Prisma colored pencils with OMS, Stickles Glitter Glue, Color box fluid chalks.
- Embellishments: Prima Say it in Crystals Centers, KaiserCraft Pearls, Beary Sweet Florals (coming soon)

Hello sweet Kimmie, this is so darling. I love your coloring and paper choices. The "drama" of the dark background is such a fabulous juxtaposition with the sweet innocent Tilda... it's a delicious combination!
(Have I had too much coffee this morning? Hmm...)
Cheers,
Susan
Oh what a cute card! I hate bees too! I had swallowed one when I was a kid...lol,we we're riding in the back of a pick up truck going the lake. I was yawning and in flew a bee,I couged and spit until it came out!!!! A good thing it didn't sting me,imagine that!!
But your card is fabulous, love that Tilda image!

Susan... to much coffee??? There's never enough coffee in my day. I need an IV of caffeine.
