Spring is almost here - less than a week until the official start. So with that in mind, the Beary Scrap's latest challenge is
Spring. After all of the snow from this winter, I don't think too many people will mind warmer weather and beautiful flowers.
I made a round card today using the
Spellbinders Grand dies. Do you know how easy it is to make shaped cards with these large dies? I just scored my 12" cardstock at 6 inches, using my
Scor-pal, then I taped the die down on the top of this fold with part of the die extending past the fold. This way when it cuts, it just cuts the shape up to the fold. My papers for today are once again
Echo Park's For the Record. In the center of my handmade flower, I added one of the Beary Scraps mulberry roses (that I
misted to match my card.)
I hope spring comes to visit you soon and that you will play along with our challenge. If you haven't checked out the prizes this month, you might want to see the goodies Kimm is giving away to celebrate our
one year birthday!
