Well there is lots more on the way but some of the new items that I used today for my Thank You card are this very pretty ribbon from May Arts Sheer Woven Rosettes. There is lots of pretty colors in stock and I used the very pretty Yellow. My background paper is the new Echo Park Springtime Paper. I also made my very cute Charlie Chick with an Acrylic Paper Piecing Pattern and Mulberry Paper. I used the Large EK Success Daisy Punch and the Medium EK Success Retro Flower Punch to make my flower. I also used Colorbox Ink on my flower. I used the Fiskars Duel Tip Stylus Embossing Tool to shape my flower that was taught in an Ustream class by Anna from More Paper Than Shoes. I also used brads and the Leave Branch die from Sizzix. My Thank You was cut out with Spellbinders.

Beary Scrap wants to Thank You!

Hi, it's Gini with another card made using our current sketch. Since we are celebrating our one year birthday, we wanted to thank all of our loyal followers - you all are the best! So, this thank you is for helping make our first year so successful.

I got to break into my Echo Park For the Record paper. I really love it! I inked all of the edges using Distress Ink. I just think this pulls a card together. The rose was made using Glimmer Mist, Vintage German Glass Glitter (brown) and the Spellbinders/ Donna Salazar Rose Creations die set. That gorgeous pearl flourish is from Zva Creations (which will soon be appearing at TBS!)

Hello and happy Monday to you! We're starting the second week of our March Birthday Bash party. I'm not exactly sure *where* last week went, but here we are today. :) This week the design team is showing more samples from our current sketch challenge *and* showing YOU a little love. In honor of all our readers and challenge players we're sending you a big ol' Thank You. Each of our projects this week are made with our store and design team friends in mind.

I used My Mind's Eye Portobello Road papers on each layer as well as for the flower petals. The bird is cut from a 12x12 paper in the collection. The letters were dabbed onto a Weathered Wood ink pad until covered. After the ink dried I covered the letters in Rock Candy Distress Stickles. The flower is made from layers of Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die cuts. I used 2 of each size, shortening the petals on the biggest flowers. The flower technique is from Anna Fearer of More Paper Than Shoes. It's not a bad flower for my first try, right? If you look too closely (haha) you'll see that my smallest flowers are a little off-center. Oops! I used Weathered Wood ink and Stickles in Frosted Lace and Star Dust to accent the flowers.

• Embellishments:  Portobello Road; mini letters, lace and clear glass spray from stash; Flower made from an Anna Fearer tutorial
• Adhesives: Inkssentials Matte Accents; Fabri-Tac; Scor-Tape; 1/2" Glue Dots; silicone
• Tools: Cutter Bee scissors; Cutter Bee tweezers; Scor-Pal

It's our Birthday, (as I'm sure you've heard!) and we are happy to be celebrating with ALL OF YOU.
